I have seen "Advise & Consent." It has some dated elements (its depiction of gays, the fact that one of the heroes is an old South Carolina racist), but it does a very good job of showing the way the Senate is an old boys club.
I save the world by providing mental health, substance abuse and children and family services to people in need in St. Louis City. Happily (for me), this means I will never be out of a job!
